1. Acceptance of terms
ELZAIK Marketplace is owned and operated by JAYIDA INTERNATIONAL, a company registered in the Netherlands. By downloading and using ELZAIK, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility and geography
ELZAIK is currently offered to users in Somaliland, Somalia, Ethiopia and Djibouti. Additional countries may be added over time.
- You must provide accurate account information and be old enough to use the service under the laws that apply to you.
- A city is supported when it appears as available in the app. If you do not see your city, you may request it by emailing support@elzaik.com.
- Availability of listings depends on the cities we have enabled. Using ELZAIK does not take away rights you have under applicable law.
3. Account registration
- You must provide accurate information (name, email, password, phone and city).
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- If you upload a profile picture, it is stored with your account.
- You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) or at elzaik.com/delete-account.html.
4. Marketplace rules
- Individuals and shops can post products.
- Posting products is currently free. In a future update, payment may be required.
- ELZAIK does not store or review private conversations between buyers and sellers. Buyers contact sellers using the seller’s own contact details shown on the listing. Those conversations happen between the parties, not inside an ELZAIK chat system.
- We do not provide delivery services. All transactions and delivery arrangements are between the buyer and the seller.
- You must verify the reseller or seller before buying. We are not responsible for any fraud, loss or damage arising from a transaction between users.
5. Location and products
- For individual users, we collect your city (not coordinates) to show whether a product is available in your city.
- For shops, we collect coordinates to display products on a map and in the product list.
- We store listing information and photos you upload so other users can view them.
6. Liability disclaimer
- We are a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction.
- We do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of products.
- We are not responsible for disputes, losses or damages arising from transactions between users, except where applicable law says we cannot exclude that responsibility.
- Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under the laws of the Netherlands, the European Union, or the country where you live.
7. Future payment features
In a future update, we may introduce payment features. New terms will apply, and we will notify you.
8. Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- Post illegal, harmful or misleading content.
- Misrepresent your identity, location or listings.
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer or disrupt the app.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy and on the Delete account page.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory protections that apply in the country where you live. You may bring a claim in the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
