How to delete your account
You can delete your ELZAIK account yourself in either of these ways:
- In the app: open Settings → Delete account, enter your password, and confirm. This starts deletion immediately.
- On this page: enter the email and password for your account in the form below and confirm. This permanently deletes the account.
This action cannot be undone. After deletion you will need to create a new account if you want to use ELZAIK again.
What is deleted
When deletion completes on the live service, we remove:
- Your account login and profile (name, email, phone, city, address).
- Your profile picture.
- Your shop, if you have one (including shop logo and related files).
- Your listings and product photos.
ELZAIK does not store private chat messages between buyers and sellers, so there is no buyer–seller conversation history for us to delete. Those conversations happen through the contact details users share with each other.
What may be kept for a short time
We may keep a limited amount of information for a short period when we have a legal or security reason to do so, for example:
- Backup copies created before deletion was completed.
- Security or anti-abuse logs needed to investigate fraud or protect the service.
- Records we are required to keep by law.
We do not keep your account active, and we do not continue to show your profile or listings after deletion from the live service.
How long deletion takes
After you confirm with the correct email and password, deletion from the live service is usually completed immediately. Removal from backups and similar copies can take up to 30 days.
